|Friends & Supporters of Save RGV from LNG:|
After the release of the draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) for Annova LNG, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has scheduled a comment sessioninside the Port Isabel Events & Cultural Center (309 E. Railroad Ave) on Thursday, January 10th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, where stenographers will be present to record your verbal comments. If there are enough public comments of opposition, it will increase our chances of stopping the Annova LNG project. Please provide your comment to the FERC inside the Events Center, and then join Save RGV from LNG outside for the Stop Annova LNG Public Hearing & Protest to hear and share community comments. We will have fact sheets in English and Spanish, NO LNG buttons, and refreshments available. Remember: LNG is not a done deal.
